Following a change in corporate strategy to move beyond pulmonary drug delivery, Inhale Therapeutic Systems needed to re-name and re-brand itself for continued growth.

Action
As associate director of marketing, Jennifer LeBlanc, led the implementation of the name change and the integrated re-branding campaign.

Results
Nine months following the external launch of the new name, Nektar enjoyed very high brand awareness, with 54% unaided awareness among its customers. The new Nektar website increased the number of hits by 80% within the first month, compared to the old Inhale site.
